"The Hour Has Come," John 12: 20-33, Pastor Marvin G Spence
There are moments in time when Christians must stand up and be identified by their actions as Jesus' disciples. Jesus, the Master Teacher, caught the disciples' attention and ours when He explains that it is only by His atoning death for our sins that we can reclaim our connection to God. When are called out by this world stand up for our beliefs with holy boldness, we will draw attention, criticism and pressure. With the Holy Spirit empowerment and embracing the Lord's will for us, we discern that "our hour has come" and our faith journey has prepared us for such a moment. In the midst of conflict and confrontation, we find our purpose and His affirmation that we are doing the right thing at the right place and time. Our challenge is to remain faithfully confident that God is in control of everything. We need only trust and obey. Be encouraged by other Believers' faith experience and His Word that the Lord will not let you fail.
