There are constant reminders from commercials, media stereotypes, use of prescriptions to maintain health, even friends and family who tell us that we could benefit from a make-over. These "fixes" focus on the external while overlooking the fact that we need a spiritual make-over, a realignment of priorities and a rebuilding of our inner person. Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, commit to live by His teachings, allow His Holy Spirit to educate, energize and order our steps on our faith journey, a spiritual reconstruction begins. When we are "born again," we can see our human struggles as described in the Beatitudes (Matthew 5: 1-12) as "Blessed." Non-believers fail to understand that struggles on our faith journey brings a clear understanding of God's will for us while developing Christian character. His faith in us and our desire to praise God in all circumstances are logical only to us. Spiritually reconstructed Christian can appreciate the value of living under the Lord's Providence and protection. It is up to us to decide to let the Master Potter make us over again to His specifications. Are you willing to let Him into your life?
