" A New Branch Opening," Isaiah 11: 1-10; Pastor Marvin G Spence

We Believers praise God for deciding that we worth saving, so much so, that He sent His Son, Jesus, to redeem us from sin's captivity. God's decision was personal as Jesus, God in Flesh, decided to live among us. Jesus fulfilled the scriptural promise of a Savior who offers salvation to us an opportunity to be reconciled with God. Just as a branch remains connected to the tree, Jesus maintained His connection to God, the Father, while He met us where we’re, living in a sinful state. Jesus fully understands our human condition which is plagued with challenges, doubts, failures and reluctance to rely on Him as the only who can meet our needs.
We have direct access to Lord because is as close to us as the words we speak or the air we breathe. As Deuteronomy 30: 11-14 reminds us, accepting the Lord as Savior is neither a difficult choice, nor is salvation beyond our reach if we believe we that the Lord’s message can change our lives and eternal destination. His Holy Spirit is willing to take up residence within our heart. Are we willing to open our minds to living a Christ-changed life?
