Most decisions we make are not life-changing, like eating options, shopping or recreation choices. Other decisions are life-changing like educational choices, financial obligations, relationships and where we live. The most important decision we make is regarding where we will spend eternity. When we take inventory of what we think we need to prepare for this journey, we discover all that is needed is a repentant heart and the desire to accept Jesus as Lord, Savior and role model. We accept being identified as a Christian when we decide to "follow" Jesus' lifestyle by our thoughts, words and deeds which are reflected in how we interact with others. We develop an intimacy with His Holy Spirit that allows us a safe haven to share our deepest fears and hopes which leads to confidence that our prayers will be answered. We are afforded the opportunity and privilege of representing Him to others as we imitate what Jesus has taught about life and eternity.
